Destined For Greatness

Have you ever wondered why some people are successful while others are not?

Some people live in poverty, while others in wealth?

Some people seem to have all the good breaks while you can’t seem to figure out how to make things work.

Today, I would like to tell you walkingbyfaith.com ad tags SocialBar SocialBar_1 JS SYNC PU something that you might not have realized by now:

You are destined for greatness!

So many people live their lives without a dream, ambition, or drive. They have already put a limit on their abilities and potential. Before they have tried something new, they have already talked themselves out of it.

Perhaps, you have lived in an environment where people are content in spending all their life in poverty. Maybe, you have let other people infected you with an average mindset — a mindset that says:

“I’m just an average.”

“I can’t do anything great.”

“I have already reached my limits.”

“This is who I am. I will never accomplish my dreams.”

“There’s no future for me.”

Why don’t you give yourself a favor and get rid of those limiting beliefs?

Let me tell you:

God gave every one of us a gift, talent, skills, and ability to reach our full potential.

The problem is we are not using them.

We don’t use them to achieve our goals.

Worst of all, we don’t use our God-given skills to honor our Creator!

What am I telling you?

I’m trying to tell you to stop being average.

God didn’t create you to be average.

You are destined to do great things in life.

It is sad when you are on your deathbed and when you look back, you realize you haven’t done anything of value, of great significance. It is sad to then realize that you could have done more, that you could have done better if you have set aside those limiting beliefs.

If you are in a situation where you are addicted, unhealthy, working in a low-paying job, depressed, in a broken relationship, you CAN change your situation. You don’t have to stay there.

That’s not who you are.

If you can’t find the right opportunities, then create your own opportunities.

If all the odds are against you, then remember, God is for you.

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Therefore do NOT be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

So, stop wasting time. Be wise. Redeem the time. Know God’s will for you.

In most cases, it is us who brought difficulties and problems in our lives and it is only us, with God’s grace, who can bring out ourselves from these problems.

Do your best.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 tells us:

10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Start making good use of your time. Read books. Learn something new. Improve your skills. Take classes whenever possible. Surround yourself with people who can influence you for the better. Find a mentor.

Stop wasting time watching TV, playing video games, and gossiping about your neighbors.

Those things will only bring you down. They will not help you grow.

Do things that will make you productive.

Because when you are blessed, you can also bless others. God can use you as a channel of His favor.

So, stop being mediocre.

You are destined for greatness.

Do your best and I can assure you, God will do the rest!

Shalom……
