No man on earth is the owner of the next minutes or hours of what will happen to him. Whatever happens to a man in life has already been known by God before the manifestation. God knows the beginning and the end of a man’s life. He is the God of yesterday, today and forever. He is the creator of the earth and besides, He created you in His own image and likeness. There is nothing that is happening to you that God is not aware of.
Take no thought for tomorrow is an instruction from the Lord because He has already made provisions for your tomorrow. He expects you to be thankful, hopeful and total reliance on Him for your tomorrow, rather than complaining. The challenges of life have made some of us worried about what to eat, drink and wear.
God is the owner of everything you need on earth. Psalms 24:1 says “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein”. Therefore, no matter your thinking of what your tomorrow will be, it cannot make any difference in your life because God has already made that provision for you and your family.
Our anchor scripture in Mathew 6:31-34, the Lord gave us a vivid instruction that we should take no thought for tomorrow of what to eat, drink and wear. But to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God is aware of what you are in need of. He has made the provisions of all your needs even before He created you He gave you all authority to have dominion of everything He created on earth.
God Almighty feels bad whenever He hears His children complaining that nothing is working for them. If you must live a better life in this end time, you must seek the face of God in prayers and take what belong to you by force. No man on earth has the willpower to help God.
No wonder David said “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth”, Psalms 121:1-2. David knew there was nothing he could do concerning his tomorrow despite being a man of war hence; he looked unto God for his future provisions. James 1:17, says “Every good and prefect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the father of light, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”. The Lord has assured us to take no thought for our tomorrow because every good thing we need for our future sustenance is from God. Your worries, complains and crying for the betterment of your future cannot change the mind of God concerning you.
God said in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply you. Hebrews 6:14. Every one of us needs the blessings of God and expansion in life, our business, career, marriage, relationship, academics and ministry. God is the only source of your blessings and increase in life. No matter your level of thinking for your future success, if God is not involved, you definitely end up as failure. I pray for you, as you obey the words of God today He will bless you and multiply you in life in Jesus name Amen.
Take no thought for tomorrow is also a warning from God not to allow our hearts to be troubled about the things of the world. John 14:1 says, “Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me”. Friends, if your heart is always troubled, you can never be focus on the plans of God for your life.
Apostle Peter toiled all night as a business man without success. But when he focused on the words of Jesus, he became much more successful than what he was, John 5:1-6. The plan of God for you is for peace and not evil but to give you an expected end. Peter had an over flow miracles and blessings because he never thought of it.
This same miracle and blessings will manifest in your life in Jesus name. God is aware of your present situation but want you to be joyful in him for the expectation of your double blessings. Isaiah 61:7, the word of God says, “for your shame ye shall have double; and for your confusion they shall rejoice in their portion; therefore in their Land, they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them”.
May your afflictions turns double blessings for you in Jesus name Amen. Many of you are so much concern about the things of the world but neglecting the source. God is the ultimate provider of everything on earth. In Luke 10:38-42, Martha was much careful, troubled and concern about the things of life. While her sister Mary focused on the word of God. God honours His word more that His name.
The word of God encapsulates all needs of man on earth. Whatever you are afraid of in life is also afraid of you. If the birds that flies in the sky are well cared for by God, what about you He creation in His own image and likeness. When you take no thought for your tomorrow but focus on God for your future, your latter days shall be better than the former in the mighty name of Jesus Amen. …
